What are warnings and strikes?

A warning is a notice that something broke the rules. Active warnings show on the Appeals screen. Serious categories (underage, threats, sexual content) are treated more harshly and can hide a profile immediately. We may warn, hide, strike, suspend, or permanently ban — including on a first offence.
